My exciting first group project was something my colleagues and I created after school over the course of about two weeks. I was responsible for texturing, shading, and lighting. It was incredibly fun to bring a realistic snail to life, especially using subsurface scattering and a glossy coat to really sell that slimy feel. I worked with the great model provided by Samira Felten, and thanks to Antonia Kiewitt’s compositing, the final shot achieved a wonderfully moody atmosphere.
